Good find. I'm spreading this one around.
In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

At least in Phoenix, the organizers are condoning this paper. Haven't heard any such condemnation of the garbage being spewed in NYC, DC, and other Occupy events.

I can't sample the text, but the part about resisting the government trampling your unalienable rights, to the point of lethal force on a government agent is readily available on a number of websites inhabited by serious second amendment supporters.

The generally discuss the fact that if police are entitled to disarm you for their own safety, then you are vulnerable to their tyranny. You have been deprived of your civil rights when you were disarmed, some say when you were detained.

It's not a practical position, and one which I wouldn't imagine that I would ever realize in real life, but I am inclined to agree that no police officer should be able to disarm a US simply because it amuses him, for his own safety, or because the police department or culture somehow imagines that it has the right to trump the US Constitution. Indeed, your right to keep and bear arms is for your safety, and the safety, whim, or arrogance of a public servant simply doesn't rate in the face of a civil right.

We have allowed our government to go too far. We have checkpoints on our roads. We have cops putting people in handcuffs "for both our safety" and telling those people that they aren't under arrest. Now I would expect your average high school graduate to know that when you are detained you are indeed under arrest, especially if you are in cuffs, but to have educated people like judges think that is hunky dorey?

Choose your comrades carefully. They all seem to want to deprive other people of rights, and it's always in the name of safety, prosperity, or wisdom.
