#1 Breaking News: Dems Walk Away From Super Committee11-09-2011, 07:44 PMLatest update on the lack of progress for Dems and Republicans to reach a tax deal. Yesterday Democrats of the Super Committee rejected Republicans' offer to "raise federal tax collections by nearly $300 billion over the next decade."
Senator Rand Paul exclusively has JUST told Sean that not only are Democrats rejecting offers put on the table, but now they won't even continue to negotiate and have "walked away from the table...refusing to talk to the Republicans."
Paul warns the American people that this is all about Obama's reelection, and the taxpayers livelihood is of no concern to Obama and the Democrats.
The actual back and forth at the link.
I'll remember this when the DoD gets butchered next year and I gotta dodge another round of personnel cuts.

The CBO estimates that would add 3.3 trillion to the deficit over the decade. That leaves us 3 trillion in the hole if the "deal" is taken.
Political theater from the Republicans. They are feeling the heat.

oy, only the left and Washington thinks that tax cuts are spending. Even though it's been proven time and again that they increase revenue due to more spending in the private sector.
Everyone knew this was going to happen, just was a matter of time. It was a giant waste of time. I hope Boener gets hung out to dry for this stupid shit."Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings..."
