Protesters in Milwaukee were seeking a conflict with police and were seeking mass arrest, but the police were not obliging on the cold night.
At the scene Thursday night, Flynn told reporters that officers wouldn't help protesters fulfill their "martyrdom fantasies" and they could stay "and freeze their butts off."
The bridge "cleared itself," as protesters left about 40 minutes after his announcement that there would be no mass arrest, Flynn recalled Friday.Klaatu barada nikto

That's freaking hilarious.
I see he took the normal approach to misbehaving children. Just ignore them. LMAO.
Kick.

Professional protesters live to be arrested. Smart thinking by the Milwaukee Chief. :)

They probably wanted to be arrested because the jail cells were heated. Temps in Milwaukee this time of year are starting to get into the low thirties. .

Before you can do things for people, you must be the kind of man who can get things done. But to get things done, you must love the doing, not the people!

They sat there for only 40 minutes. Watch, someone is going to say they were FORCED to sit in the cold and no one would bother to arrest them. TORTURE!
