Poll question: Is pepper spray torture?

Something else occurs to me from watching the spraying. People can get used to being pepper sprayed. Get it often enough, and it barely registers. We used to run CS chambers for training, and after a few days of working around it, I didn't notice it, and tear gas is a lot nastier than capsicum. These habitual protesters have demonstrated that they have built up a tolerance, that can only come from having been repeatedly sprayed at protests or on dates, which, given the incidence of sexual assault at the Occupy camps, is highly likely.

One of our NCO's was a Puerto Rican who took his mask off and spoke to us in his normal manner. He convinced all of us that he hadn't started the gas yet. We all thought it was the banana oil. When we took off our masks and got a snoot full, I thought I was gonna die. He had been gassed so many times that it had no effect on him. :eek:

Exactly. I suspect that most of those protesters were licking their lips and comparing jalapeno to habanero after they were sprayed. :D

When you watch that YouTube of the pinheads getting sprayed, a lot of them barely moved!
This is getting blown out of proportion but that is hardly unexpected.

Actually, I think you guys are on the right track. I honestly believe that they prep themselves for this which I find comical. Like I said in another thread, if they'd expend the same energy in prepping for this nonsense int making something of themselves, they'd actually end up being somebody.

They ended up, rather easily in fact, just picking them up or dragging them away. Why couldn't they do that first?

All the pepper spray did was inflict pain, what is the point of that?

The point was to get them to get up off their lazy asses and move themselves without the police having to drag them all away like unweildy luggage.

Since we don't see the person who is shot, we have no way of knowing what they were doing. They could have been holding a Molotov cocktail or a firearm. Again, you fail.
