    Matthews is a guy who has the nerve to call himself a journalist and yet since day one he has unashamedly pointed out that he considers it his job to help Obama succeed and now he likewise numbers himself among the Obama team. This is a man who is the poster child for the death of objective journalism in our time.

    Like I have said many times here: we lost the cold war and are just beginning to realize it.
    When the delegates emerged from the Constitutional Convention in 1787, a Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got?” Franklin replied, “A republic, madam, if you can keep it.”
