I called Portia "Anne Frank" because I installed gates on interior doorways so she couldn't be seen from the outside in the daytime (the family room is all glass on two walls.) But that was that was a delightful private insurance company whose executives got into trouble. Now I have Citizens and don't really care what their dog policy is.

Anyway, Rottie Rescue folks will tell you that Rottweilers don't actually exist. Those adorable monsters you adopt from them are actually "mixed lab and golden retriever".

Hah! I'll have to try that one out.
In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

Not so well, it's been just too much for me to handle lately.

    I'm sorry.

My dog is 13 and my cat is 15, I consider every day I have them with me to be a blessing.

So sorry to hear about this....I firmly believe we will see our departed pets after we go as well....She is now pain free and at peace. It still sucks to lose her, but you did the right thing in ending her pain.
