A base income of, oh lets say $10 an hour, and women would have a leg up to get out of abusive relationships, people wouldn't have to be tied to abusive job situations, and artists and entrepreneurs would have the breathing room to develop their ideas. It was a good enough idea for Richard Nixon to consider after being pressured by welfare activists, and it is good enough for me.

I saw that in CA it costs over $100.00 a day to keep someone in jail.
