MANHATTAN – During an exclusive campaign fundraiser on New York’s Upper East Side tonight, President Obama offered reassurances to some of his most loyal Jewish supporters about the administration’s commitment to Israel. <-- Yep like demand Israel go back to undefendable lines.
“Obviously, no ally is more important than the state of Israel,” Obama said. <-- And he showed it by insulting and belittling Israel’s elected leader at every opportunity.
“This administration – I try not to pat myself too much on the back – but this administration has done more in terms of the security of the state of Israel than any previous administration,” he added. <-- All he does is pat him self on the back.
Obama has taken heat from some members of the Jewish community for what have been, at times, frustrated relations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and for his public calls for statehood negotiations with Palestinians to start with the pre-1967 lines.
American Jewish Congress chairman Jack Rosen, who hosted Obama fundraiser at his private home, acknowledged the concerns generally in his introduction of the president. But Rosen praised the president’s record.
“America’s never been as supportive to the state of Israel” than since Obama took office, he said. <-- That depends upon what your definition of "Supportive" is.
Thirty Obama supporters each paid at least $10,000 per person to attend, said a Democratic official. <-- Suckers. Wait a week, could have attended for $4.00 like other events.

If what he has done is considered supportive, I'd hate to see if he was hostile to them.

Do not ever say that the desire to "do good" by force is a good motive. Neither power-lust nor stupidity are good motives. (Are you listening Barry)?

He can say that as if he really believes it! Oh he's insane all right, there's no other way to explain it.

What has Obama done, policy-wise, that was not supportive of Israel?
Rhetoric aside, this administration has backed all of Israel's action through it's policies it's continued financial support and it's military support. The US ties to Israel are as strong as ever.
In fact, the Bush administration was calling for a two-state solution to the Palestinian conflict as well, but when this matter actually came to vote in the UN, it was the Obama administration that swore to defy the entire world and veto it.
This myth about Obama being anti-Israel is total twilight zone lunacy. The only way anyone could believe this is if they get 100% of their "news" from radio entertainers, forwarded emails, and far-right blogs.Originally Posted by Adam Smith - Wealth of Nations

Non-commercial journalism, community media, international news networks, newspapers, several different conflicting perspectives, and even some garbage cable news for fun.
You're not going to find "unbiased" news, so it helps to get news from many different perspectives, also it's extremely important to focus on quality journalism, not sensationalism and ratings-fodder.
Regardless, my question still stands on Obama's policies towards Israel.Originally Posted by Adam Smith - Wealth of Nations
