I lived in Lovington from 66-69 and then flew in and out of MAF and LBB on an almost continual basis for several years. I've been sitting here trying to remember some snowstorm or another that might have happened in the 1979-90 time frame and d***ed if you're not right. Every one of them was in NM. I remember a snowball fight in July above Carlsbad and having to wear a jacket every time I made a well trip at 2 am. It might hit 103 by 4 pm but it took all day to get there and cooled way down at night.It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
Live every day as if it were your last, because one of these days, it will be.
