Thread: Emotional movies.

In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

Other movies that make me choke up:
Field of Dreams
Hearts in Atlantis
The Wrestler-I need to clarify this. I'm a big wrestling fan and from what I've seen in reading books and heard in listening to wrestlers talk about life in the business, this movie tells the story about the business very well. Sad to see a guy who was at one time on top of the world relegated to living in a trailer park and working in bingo halls and armories. This is the side of the business most people don't know about. Mick Foley said that this movie hit the nail right on the head. Watch the documentary Beyond the Mat and the segment on Jake Roberts and you'll see where they got the idea for this movie.Deplorably Proud To Be An American

I cry during the scene in Ordinary People when Timothy Hutton calls his friend from the mental hospital and her family tells him that she killed herself.
I cry happy tears at the end of The Color Purple, when Celie and her sister Nettie are finally reunited, and Celie is united with the children she was forced to give up.
