Rationalizing? No. In fact, I did agree that a monkey reference to a black man had a racial connotation that it didn't with a white. However, the volume and degree of insulting, boorish and otherwise ugly behavior towards Bush by the left is still greater than the right's behavior towards Obama, and that's how the left likes it.
