Wow, I am into my third day of owning this fire and all I can say is thank God I don't own an iPad. I don't need a built in gps or all the other stuff that comes with one and I sure don't want to purchase another data plan.
Does anyone else have a fire and if so,how long did it take you tofind all the features

Dude, you are the Dark Lord. Get a Fire and complete your conversion to the anti-Apple dark side. You wont be disappointed. Even with my massive hands the keyboard is easy to use.

You can't beat the price or the android operating system, good choice.

Got one for Christmas and love it.

Stock market, weather, audio books, e-books with dictionary service, Newspapers, Pandora while I'm reading..................Yeah. It's good.:)

Found a few little bitty problems but nothing that really put me off.

I have a standard Kindle, I love being able to read outside with the sunshine. It's has wi-fi but no 3G...I bought a pair for my bro in law & sister in 2010 for Christmas, and then a pair for my mom and I last year.

    The Fire does look cool.....
