I wonder if the protagonists will kill a bunch of non-whites during the film's climax. What do you think?

Make no mistake, these SEALS are heroes. They live off government cash while defending you and me from evil brown-skinned people. I wonder if impressionable young Americans will see this film. Maybe it will encourage them to live out their war hero fantasies, impressing their family and friends by.... abandoning their family and friends to defend U.S. oil interests (while living off taxpayers).

All jokes aside, this film is despicable; America's "defense" budget is out of control. Can we stop encouraging young people to do moronic things? America's outrageous debt crisis was created in large part because of stupid military spending. People need to wake up. Valor does not mean starting wars, killing innocents (100k Iraqi civilians dead), and creating enemies for profit.

Bring the troops home. Put them in school. Read books. Say "no" to mindless propaganda.
    Typical troop basher.

Your view is a fantasy: you imagine that the military is some poor repressed group when the reality is anything but. It is bloated, over-worshipped, and frequently counter-productive.

fraud. fraud. everywhere. Your imagination that the military is misrepresented is equally unreal as your fantasy that America is under constant threat.

The OP is absolutely spot on with everything said so far in this thread. Fear is the most valuable commodity in the universe. Our government knows this. They also know most Americans are dumb as $hit and will eat up anything that is spoon fed to them. In a group of 10 people you'll be lucky to find 3 who can individually think on their own and for themselves.

The founding fathers of this country are rolling in their graves...

The irony of this statement is mind boggling.

More of the typical anti-military, anti-war, pro-terrorist bullsh*t we've heard over the last eleven years.

I've seen far Left wing site come out and say " BRING THE TROOPS HOME .. THEN TRY THEM FOR WAR CRIMES. "

This one of the reason I've cautioned others never go to war when the Moonbats screaming for the U.S. to interveen in some conflict; Moonbats always jump sides after the first shot is fired, and support the guys they wanted our military to fight. Fore God's sake every other day they're calling someone in this country " THE AMERICA TALIBAN ", but they side with the real Taliban over our guys every day.

I tried to call in to a talk show with Ron Kuby a few years back when he was demanding that we intervene in Darfur (Kuby was a disciple of William Kunstler, and is just as far left and moonbatty), to ask him why we should act on his demand when he was so virulently antiwar after 9/11. I couldn't get through, sadly, but I would have enjoyed getting him to explain why the troops could trust him this time, when he'd turned on us every other time we'd gone overseas.

Most of the movie sites I visit call IMDB a total joke. From their "In depth" inside knowledge of the movie which most sites state is common knowledge just with a simple google. Worst of all, IMDB is like Wiki. In that a lot of their info is user submitted. So if one of their user members submits something with wishful thinking to the Internet Movie Database, being user-submitted, it can't always be quality-controlled.

Far as the members there, its the usual hodgepodge of members. The libs tend to flock to movies they perceive as "Right-wing Propaganda" to trash and debunk it. Then look to the lib crap. Visit and Micheal Moore film and read the trashing of those from the right. Their chat board is usually nothing more then a pissing match between the two.

Personally I prefer Collider to get movie info. This is the latest from them on Act of Valor.

Most IMDP posters seem to be Euros who are violently jealous of us. I've never seen so much anti-american sentiment in any other site than this. The funny thing is, they like to post in ambiguous movie boards, like Field of Dreams, with such commentary on how lame America is for liking such a movie.
