It’s a huge and positive switch for Scott’s fortunes. Opponents made headlines when they easily collected 1 million signatures on a recall petition. Walker this week said he would not challenge the signatures-including names like “Donald Duck”-because there isn’t enough time before the May recall election.
While this makes sense tactically, it's a huge strategic mistake. Walker needs to highlight the dishonesty in the recall campaign, and the fraudulent activities of his opposition. Even if it's too late to invalidate the petition before the election, you want to document the criminal electoral frauds and prosecute them after the fact.

    Sic Hacer Pace, Para Bellum.

Before you can do things for people, you must be the kind of man who can get things done. But to get things done, you must love the doing, not the people!

May be a mistake, but it may be clever. He may have every intention of going after those clowns after he defeats their efforts.
That's what I would do. I would defeat them at the polls and then defeat them again in court. I would make it so expensive for them in terms of both reputation and fiscal well being that they would be very reluctant to try that again. Their bankruptcy would be there for all to see.
