I'm not one to care about celebrities playing politics, but Matt Damon hit the nail on the head. Palin is absurd.

You are kidding, right?
What a loon, insert Obamas name for palin, leave out the word Mayor and Governr and viola! Then the nail would be hit!
I love the "you do the actuary tables, there's a 1/3 chance McCain doesn't survive."
Statistics are great fun! If you do the numbers, there's a 1/3 chance Obama gets arrested during his term as president. Do you want to take a 1/3 chance of Biden becoming president?
Sounds like someone drove a nail thru Matt's head. Palin has more executive and legislative experience than Obama. Other than being a community organizer and running for Prez most of the time while in the Senate, his experience is nill. Plus, Palin is head and shoulders above him in the common sense department.
True. But he's right about Palin. As CW has pointed out, the one thing she has working in her favor is the fact that she'd only be VP, unlike Obama... but thats about it.
This is it... its either Obama/Biden or McCain/Palin.. like aliens vs predator... no matter who wins, we lose.

All this feeds right into the hands of the Republicans.
Well, someone at Obama headquarters has some sense!
Report: Obama Turns Down Support From Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan wanted to stump for Barack Obama, but was turned down with a polite ''thanks, but no thanks,'' the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The trouble-prone actress offered to host a series of events aimed at younger voters, but the Democratic presidential candidate's camp wasn't interested, the paper says.
Lohan ''is not exactly the kind of high-profile star who would be a positive for us," a top source on the Obama team told the paper.
