Happy retirement AmPat and thank you for all the years of service.
I wish you the happiest of happy in your new civilian life.

My only regret is I have the retirement certificate signed by the most disgraceful president in the history of our great country.

My son was in Presidential service, and when they leave they get a one on one visit with the President in the oval office and get a picture made. So now I have this awesome pic of my son in his dress blues standing in front of the Resolute desk armed up with Barry that will forever have to be promently displayed in my living room and office. I have a more casual one of him in his flight suit in a hanger armed up with Bush that's in a larger frame hanging over the Barry one though

My high school friend who recently retired from the Navy is now a schoolteacher. It's a good career fit for her, kids respect military vets.
