The subject of this post is the "glove compartment". Why the hell so we still call it that? I understand the origin of the term, but that origin dates back to a day when a vehicle's wheels were made of wood. It's on par with Brit's calling a flashlight a "torch", a road a "carriageway", etc. WFT? We know they're all crazy due to lack of vitamin D, but what's our excuse?
It's time to rename this damned container for the 21st century and I wanna know what it should be called. Vote or offer your own idea. This matters I tell ya!
