Is "Broccoli" a code word?
That's the first thing I thought of when conservative asswipes brought up broccoli again.

I thought it was strange back in 1990 when GHWB expressed his dislike of it.


It's still strange that conservatives are talking about it. Why broccoli? Is it code?

Albert Broccoli was the producer on many of the James Bond movies...of which some dealt with battling Soviet spies and super villians.

I'm beginning to see why the DUmmies think that it's some kind of secret code.

This is all about vegetable racism and how many vegetables are code for racial or other identity topics. For example, peas and carrots are references to male genitalia, and actually refer to gay men (Parsley refers to lesbians). Cauliflower is code for white people, potatoes are Irish, Brussels Sprouts are Belgians, Olives are Greeks, Beets are Russians (and sugar beets are Russian mail order brides), Garlic is French, Asparagus refers to Jews (apparently, you snip off the tip), Dates are Arabs, parsnips Lithuanians, Rutabagas are Europeans in general and bok choi refers to Chinese.
