This is very true. One of the problems with the US military's policy of promoting cultural awareness is that some cultures are inherently repulsive, and the more that you know about them, the worse they get. The Afghans are hypocritical pederasts who speak of Islamic purity, then do vile things to children, but that doesn't matter. What does matter is that this flag simply gives them another thing to hate about the decadent Americans.

The bolded is true. Homophobe was made up by the gay community, because the other words for ignorant and obnoxious bigot were too generic. The beauty of the English language is that it is nimble and expanding thus more precise.

There are lots of terms for ignorance and obnoxiousness, and given time, your screen name will become one of them. However, there is a difference between tolerating a lifestyle and approving of it. To you, anyone who tolerates homosexuality but doesn't give wholehearted approval to every aspect of it is a bigot. By creating this Manichean view, you alienate the tolerant in the hope of destroying all dissent, but it no longer works. It's the default position for failure to persuade. When a leftist calls someone a bigot nowadays, it simply means that he is losing the argument.
