I disagree about Rubio being green. He was the speaker of the Florida state assembly in a very important state. He is definitely more qualified than a mayor turned governor to run as veep and he has a very good grasp of the economic situation that we face.

No, Zafod does this week. I think he decided to Flip-flop Mikey instead of tires...since both Mike1903873047 and tires are considered dead weight.

I still say that there should be a full-court press to get Condi Rice to join the ticket as VP. She is brilliant (would eat Biden's lunch in VP debates), experienced, and would be disarming to the race/gender driven narrative of the current administration and his surrogates in the MSM. She would be a damned competent and formidable VP.
When the delegates emerged from the Constitutional Convention in 1787, a Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got?” Franklin replied, “A republic, madam, if you can keep it.”

Yea I'd love to see Rice back in too.
But I think she had enough of all that DC fun already.
I don't see her ever getting back in at that level.

Florida is no more important a state than 49 others. Did you think before you typed your post, you said a governor wasn't qualified to be VP but a state assemblyman was . hell if you want to put importance on states I'd argue that Alaska is more important than Florida both Strategically & economically.

That aside Rubio has had an impressive come out politically but still an unknown. Give him time if he is what folks hope he is he will be even better in 4 or 8yrs. one step away from the presidency not the place to have some unknown untested person.
The 21st century. The age of Smart phones and Stupid people.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Looks like I won't be voting at all this November. As far as what little advice I have for Romney for his VP pick, he needs to put someone like Mike Huckabee or Rick Santorum on the ticket if he really wants conservatives besides myself to show up on Election Day. Marco Rubio, although I like him, might not do the trick. Condi Rice, the "pro-choice evangelical" will easily help Obama sail to a second victory.

You all won't be hearing that much from me in the near future. This election is officially over.

Sorry Zeus but Florida is more important because it is a swing state that we must win to get the electoral college.

As for my comment about Palin, if she had actually served a full term as governor, I could see your point. However, she quit two and a half years into her term. Yes the democrats were playing fast and loose but she could have easily stayed with it.
