Awwww, thank you for the Valentine!

I would submit that the use of a burlywood background color when using a white font color is a poor choice in both readability and overall aesthetic appeal.

From a purely aesthetic view, the sublime contrast of white on black conjures philosophical notions of diametric opposites waging an eternal struggle for the attention of the observer or, as in this case, the reader. On the other hand, the conditioning of the human mind to peruse black typeface on a white or near-white background is as ingrained in us as our sleep cycle. Therefore, when the color priorities are reversed it causes an innate and even subconscious discomfort that can affect our comprehension of the text set forth. It then becomes extremely difficult for one to discern the nuances of the typographical, not to mention grammatical, errors of the author of the brief and erroneous essay in question.

Ah wood, the default background for those who seek to exude a deeper understanding of nature and humanity's role in its great and complex machinery; the soul reaching back for the Garden of Eden, if you will. Those who employ this graphical chicanery are, in fact, doing little more than exploiting the baser part of us that desires fruit over holiness, vegetables over meat. Even as such a visual ploy reminds us of the strangely enticing fragrance of Endust®, its very grain reveals the darkest fractures in our minds which distract us from the snowy text that demands our corrective attention.

I was kinda thinking something in pank would be nice!
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
And clever in their own sight! Isaiah 5:20-21 NASB

Luckily you only kind of think.
