My bad, I picked up somewhere that the ultras were down on distilled spirits. Possibly in Israel back in my company-grade days, because every other damned thing in the world seemed to piss them off (And twice on Saturdays, of course).

The ultras in Israel may be, but I've never been to Israel and haven't any firsthand experience with them. The various Hasidic sects here don't have a problem with liquor.
