Plymouth NC has a festival every year to remember the battle. One half of the town was held by the Confederacy and the Yankee dogs held the other half at the same time. I went last year and I am taking my son this year. wwwlivinghistoryweekend.com

    The last flight of Discovery:
Landing at Dulles airport at approximately 11:05 local time never to see space again. It arrived astraddle of another 'antique' the 747 that has been the pack mule of the agency for several years. I wonder what awaits that vehicle?

It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
Live every day as if it were your last, because one of these days, it will be.

When you look at that backpacked contraption you realize there is truth to the old saying that anything will fly if you put a big enough engine on it!
