Plymouth NC has a festival every year to remember the battle. One half of the town was held by the Confederacy and the Yankee dogs held the other half at the same time. I went last year and I am taking my son this year. wwwlivinghistoryweekend.com

The last flight of Discovery:
Landing at Dulles airport at approximately 11:05 local time never to see space again. It arrived astraddle of another 'antique' the 747 that has been the pack mule of the agency for several years. I wonder what awaits that vehicle?
