It's tough keeping up with my favorite sports teams in Sarasota. The coverage in the local rag is obviously focused on Florida teams, with a strong emphasis on East Coast teams. No matter how well a Midwestern team does, rarely can I find articles. So I depend on the internet.

Yay, the STL Blues hockey team defeated the Sharks today, so moving on in the playoffs. This has been an awesome year for them, as far as I could tell.

Then we get to the real miracle. Without Tony LaRussa or Albert Pujols, the Cards are first in their division and first in team average batting average and 4th in pitching. I was so afraid they'd be terrible this year. I know that it's early in the season, but it's more fun to be first, if only for a short while, then last. (The Cubbies currently are in last place).
