Wendys is their neighborhood gathering place? A McDonalds by us has several TVs, and I don't have the first idea what station they are on. For all I know they are on MSNBC, and I really couldn't care less. I'm not there to watch TV.
Dear God. First day of business and you have to deal with this freak demanding outside garbage cans.Fast forward twenty years and Wendy's finally built a store in our community. The first day of business I walked in and asked for the manager. I welcomed him and let him know that he had moved into our neighborhood and they would need trash cans outside. We got them and still have them! After a recent remodel the cans were removed and so many people complained that the cans returned in a week!
Just like a liberal to demand a company do something that upsets them, but still returns to that business, instead of taking their business somewhere else and telling their friends. He said that he would pass the info to the owners and I let him know that we would be back next week and if *ox was still on that would be it for us.
Why do they set up these wide screen TVs, anyway? I don't mind a little TV at home when I am beat at the end of the day, but good God, I'd like to eat a burger in peace. There are TVs all over the place now: gas stations (at the pumps!), waiting rooms at doctors' offices, banks, and even at restaurants that are not sports bars. Usually these infernal devices are tuned to CNN or ESPN, two channels I simply don't care for. But even if they were permanently stuck on a channel I liked, I would still resent their ubiquitous presence.
Do you think that when they are working their jobs at the drive-thru DUummis freak out if the customer has something like Rush on and demand they switch stations?
Unless I have to go in to use the restroom, I always use the drive-thru.
That way I do not have to put up with... (in no particular order)
1) Screaming children
B) Lines of people that have not figured out a menu selection that has been the same for decades.
III) Tattooed, pierced or otherwise unappealing employees and customers that would undoubtedly spoil my appetite.
4) Moronic liberals that complain about what is on TV or radio.
