#1 Occupy Leaders Apparently Involved in Bridge Bomb Plot, Suspects Named05-01-2012, 06:46 PM
One of the leaders of the Occupy Cleveland movement, Brandon Baxter, is one of those arrested for today's terrorist plot to bomb a bridge in Cleveland. Occupier Brandon Baxter appears to have gotten the guidance he sought.
OCCUPIED — Occupy Cleveland organizer Brandon Baxter gets some shade in the Occupy Cleveland tent in downtown Cleveland on March 21, 2012. Baxter, one of the few remaining members of Occupy Cleveland’s physical presence downtown, said the group has seen a sharp decline in numbers since last October because of increasing disorganization. “We need guidance,” he said.
Another of today's suspects is Anthony Hayne, named previously in a report on Occupy Cleveland. “I just want to be very clear: we are not occupying Lakewood,” said Anthony Hayne, who is organizing the information session. Hayne, a Lakewood resident since 2001, said there will be about six or seven members of Occupy Cleveland, which stems from the Occupy Wall Street movement, at the table Saturday.
Barack Obama embraced the Occupy Movement when he saw his poll numbers sliding. Now, with so called Occupiers calling themselves anarchists and hurling Molotov Cocktails, that's still apparently not far enough for some. CBS has the names and official complaint here. The plot is now directly linked to the Occupy movement. A Doug Wright, found here on Facebook, also appears to have been involved.
The official said that during the investigation, several of the suspects repeatedly complained that the Occupy Wall Street movement, which had spread to other cities from New York, wasn't violent enough.
Douglas L. Wright, 26; Brandon L. Baxter, 20; and Anthony Hayne, 35, were arrested by members of the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force Monday night on charges of conspiracy and attempted use of explosive materials to damage physical property affecting interstate commerce. Also arrested were Connor C. Stevens, 20, and Joshua S. Stafford, 23.
The complaint said while the group had not figured out how they would demolish the signs, according to Wright, "the signs are the most important part [of the plan] because they need to make sure everyone knows that the action was against corporate America and the financial system, and not just some random acts."
Clearly, their targets are completely aligned with those of any official Occupy movement. When the Tea Party was at its peak, Democrats and news media were quick to blame the Tea Party for any and every violent incident of protest around the country--and then some. How quick will they be to point out the roll of Democrats and even Barack Obama in pushing the Occupy movement, now breeding violence across America?
Breitbart author and researcher Liberty Chick contributed to this report.

"Occupy" Movement Was Infiltrated By FBI Informant In Cleveland Bridge Bombing Probe
The federal probe that resulted last night in the arrest of five purported anarchists for allegedly plotting to bomb an Ohio bridge began last year at an Occupy Wall Street rally in Cleveland that was infiltrated by an informant who was directed to attend the event by his FBI handlers.
It was at the October 21 OWS event that the informant first met Douglas Wright, 26, who reportedly confided details of his group’s planned attacks “against corporate America and the financial system,” according to court filings.
Pictured above, Wright eventually served as the informant’s bridge to the four other men busted in the bombing plot--despite the fact that the quartet was “unsure” about the snitch for whom Wright vouched. Of the five men arrested, four were involved in the Occupy Cleveland movement, according to their Facebook profiles, a news story, and a federal criminal complaint.
Other highlights, as it were, from the U.S. District Court records include:
* As the alleged plotters batted around assorted attack ideas--like bombing a “Nazi/Klan headquarters” or blowing up a Federal Reserve bank--Wright joked that he would wear a suicide vest and blow himself up, “but advised he would have to be very drunk.”
* A local Justice Center was considered a good target, but a bombing there was rejected since the accused plotters believed “they would risk hurting inmates.”
* Wright suggested using Google Maps to figure out the area near the Cleveland-area bridge “where the bombs will be dropped and the get-away route."
* Defendant Brandon Baxter, 20, mused that if the plotters were caught, “they will all go to Guantanamo Bay” and not a “normal prison.”
* Baxter also “suggested getting tacks that they could throw out of the back of the car if they get in a chase.” This getaway tactic was last successfully used in a Batman episode from 1967

On the plus side, these guys are clearly idiots and would not have been likely to accomplish their goals, even if they hadn't been infiltrated. They are not in Bill Ayers' league. The downside is that there are factions within OWS which supports these goals, and are willing and eager to use violent means to accomplish them. Also, the MSM and the remainder of OWS will not police their ranks to remove violent factions, which means that they are providing tacit support to them.--Odysseus

I feel badly for the FBI agent who had to infiltrate this group of numbskulls-granted, it was probably a lot easier than infiltrating the mob, but it had to be hard to act that dumb on purpose.

As much as I hate the Occutards and would love to pin this on their pot-smoking asses, I just feel like I've seen this movie before.

Proof positive that the MSM supports OWS - just imagine what the story lines would be if the FBI infiltrated the Tea Party and found these sorts of shenanigans going on.
Good men sleep peaceably in their beds at night because
rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

The first NATO summit in the USA since the 70's (something like that, its been a looonnngg time) is here in Chicago in a few weeks... shit like this needs to be dealt with swiftly. If these guys want to start getting violent law enforcement and residents need to act appropriately in response. The two most corrosive effects on urban America: Gun control and gentrification.
