I came to Texas as soon as I could
Up front I'll let you know I have not seen a single thing in Obamacare other than "pre-existing conditions" that I think is a good idea.

That said - What is/are the differences between forcing me to sign up for and pay for Medicare (especially when my immediate past employer was still carrying me on the corp plan) and the intended mandatory buying of insurance for each and every citizen? Is this not just moving the start line from 65 back down to 25 or so?

I had not ever thought of it like that and when I was hit with the question today I had no answer - good, bad or ugly.

You are forced to sign up - and pay for - medicare, social security and unemployment. Wow. Just think of all the changes if The Supreme Court walks all these things back and rules that the government has no right to make you participate.
