“This Mother’s Day, I can’t think of a better way to honor all the mothers in the country — past and present — than with a contribution to EMILY’s List…They’re the ones working tirelessly to elect the pro-choice Democratic women who are making sure that our freedoms are protected for generations to come.
“So, this year, join me in commemorating Mother’s Day with a contribution to EMILY’s List to help elect the Democratic women who will continue to secure our rights…On Mother’s Day, let’s get women involved and make sure they know who is truly fighting for them – the pro-choice Democratic women EMILY’s List is working each day to elect to office. Make this Mother’s Day extra special. Honor mothers around the country with a contribution to EMILY’s List” [Emphasis added].
“I’ve said it before: as the mother of two young boys, finding the right balance between work and family isn’t easy…But we do it, we figure it out, because it’s our children — our nation’s future — that we’re all fighting for every single day.”
Wow, democrats have to be the most backward thinking group of people since they formed the KKK

Wow. The disconnect is just astounding.
For Christmas and Easter, maybe they can ask people to donate to militant atheist groups in the name of Jesus, and donate to al Qaeda for Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.
Sheesh.Olde-style, states' rights conservative. Ask if this concept confuses you.

Perhaps liberals should come up with a new holiday that promotes their view of "choice". They could call it "Un-Mother's Day" (sort of the way that Lewis Carroll had un-birthdays in Alice in Wonderland), and celebrate their liberation from the inconvenience of having children, as well as the emotional gratification of living for something that goes beyond your immediate gratification. Of course, there would be nobody to make them cards, or serve them breakfast in bed, so they'd have to come out with some other way of celebrating their barren, soulless existence. Perhaps a mass gathering somewhere, where lonely, bitter, angry feminists can come to commisserate with each other and indulge in their love of mass gatherings and bitter, angry rhetoric.--Odysseus

Before you can do things for people, you must be the kind of man who can get things done. But to get things done, you must love the doing, not the people!
