Perhaps liberals should come up with a new holiday that promotes their view of "choice". They could call it "Un-Mother's Day" (sort of the way that Lewis Carroll had un-birthdays in Alice in Wonderland), and celebrate their liberation from the inconvenience of having children, as well as the emotional gratification of living for something that goes beyond your immediate gratification. Of course, there would be nobody to make them cards, or serve them breakfast in bed, so they'd have to come out with some other way of celebrating their barren, soulless existence. Perhaps a mass gathering somewhere, where lonely, bitter, angry feminists can come to commisserate with each other and indulge in their love of mass gatherings and bitter, angry rhetoric.
