Tonight was another edition of Jeopardy's Power Players week. The contestants included:

    Robert Gibbs

    CNN's Lizzy O'Leary

    Chris Matthews

Needless to say, it didn't go well.

BTW...I got every one right, minus 2 questions. I watch Jeopardy every night....they don't give these kind of softballs to even the college players.

MSNBC's Chris Matthews, who has repeatedly mocked Sarah Palin as someone who should avoid playing 'Jeopardy!,' got his chance to play the game ... and came in dead last!

15 "Power Player" contestants this week on Jeopardy. Of the 15, only 2 can be considered right leaning; Dana Perinno and Chris Wallace. The rest are from CNN, CNBC, NBC and the like. Surprising huh.

I haven't watched Jeopardy in a while, because it's on when I'm usually at the pool.

However, I was a huge fan before I started swimming. They always dumb it down for the celebrities-who really thinks a guy like Matthews could beat a human computer like Ken Jennings, for example?

My favorite matchup was Stephen King, David Duchovny and Lynn Redgrave, who obviously lost big time. King won, Duchovny was a good 2nd finish and I think Lynn didn't even make it to Final Jeopardy (she was a good sport, though). That was before they made the celebrity week into a tournament.

Well, I guess Chris Mathews has something in common with Wierd Al Yankovic now...

I know it's Jeopardy, but the only thing that could make the schadenfreude all the more sweet would be if someone inserted the Price Is Right losing music into videos mocking his failure.
