I don't know about Michigan or Detroit in particular, but generally unless there's a sound prohibited discrimination case involved, all winning does is get you your job back with back pay plus attorney's fees. When a vested pension is at stake, it's definitely worth it, of course...also avoiding the stigma of a termination for cause in this horrible Obama economy.
