Were TR, Truman Eisenhower, LBJ, Nixon, Reagan Socialists?

Were they Socialists who wanted to destroy America as we know it?

Theodore Roosevelt--Responsible for FDA amongst other agencies, national parks system.
Truman- Wanted to enact "Fair Deal", wanted to create Univeral Healthcare, created public housing.
Eisenhower--Protected New Deal despite chance to destroy it, derided those who wanted to destroy the New Deal, expanded it in some parts, created national highway system. Was considered a "Socialist agent" by the John Birch Society.
LBJ- Great Society.
Nixon- Expanded on Great Society, enacted wage and price controls, created EPA, OSHA, proclaimed first Earth Day, wanted Universal Healthcare system and guaranteed income.
Reagan- Upheld and saved Social Security, thought of Nixon as a great President even during Watergate and defended him till the end, admired TR, still praised FDR as a leader (not his policies, but his leadership) even while President, did not want to dismantle New Deal (felt New Deal was moral but Great Society was immoral), national debt increased dramatically under his watch, publicly promoted Brady Bill and free trade after leaving office, called for repeal of 22nd Amendment.

I really don't see what makes Obama a "radical' compared to TR, Eisenhower, FDR, LBJ or Nixon. Nixon certainly didn't consider himself a Socialist and was rabidly anti-Communist, yet enacted policies most here would call Communist.

In all seriousness, if Obama is a Socialist, was Nixon also? TR? Truman? Ike? Nixon was much further to the left as President than Obama. TR was more to the left, but loved America and the American way of life. I simply do not see politics as being strictly black and white.

That said I am not particularly a fan of Obama. I think his UHC idea was a stupid one and I've been affected negatively already by it. I think he is culturally too far to the left for my liking and his anti-Christianity and anti-American exceptionalism stances bother me, and I feel a President of the US should never bow to a foreign leader. I also think his blame "Blame Bush" strategy is getting very old fast as not everything in the world is the fault of George W. Bush, and I do not like how he took credit for Osama's death as if he himself pulled the trigger. That denigrates the Navy SEALS who actually did the job. He okayed it, that's as far as the credit to Obama goes. But when it comes to economics, I don't see where he differs from past Presidents all that much, to be really honest. I don't see how he's a "radical", and I dislike the words "Socialist" and "Communist" being tossed around at anyone who doesn't have 1000% Conservative Credentials. I know Socialists and they don't like Obama either because they feel he is a "Corporatist". Myself, I am a traditionalist and very old fashioned. If we could bring Nixon, or Ford, or Eisenhower, or Truman, or TR, or FDR or even Taft to life, I'd vote for them in a hot minute over Obama.

I am pretty much leaning toward the Romney camp as I think he could be an Eisenhower Republican as I previously discussed.

Doubtful. Romney is an empty vessel in which the Republicans in the legislature will pour their will.
