Apparently my dancing around the tulip tree cussin the deer this morning did some good. We got a good half-inch during supper. The cloud was so small that the sun never stopped shining throughout the rain. Promises of more tom. and maybe Sat.

I was able to get out and cut the grass before noon and good thing.
Big T-Storms firing up all around me right now. No shortage of rain here in SW Florida...

Gauge read 7/8" at sunup with the rain starting about 5 yesterday afternoon. We just had another late afternoon shot that gave us another 1/2" plus. Total so far 1.5 inches.

Just got done draining the pool. I don't have a rain guage at the moment but we must have picked up near 4 inches over the last 2-3 days, maybe more. And I know a little north of me they got way more.
At least the sun is out for now but T-Storms are in da forecast again.

Rock, if we had the power, we'd gladly share some of our rain with you. It was so darned dry here for so long. It's good to have the drought starting to break. Hope you get rain soon.
