    Oh Mercy!

Should have added to my post:

Hope this unrelenting heat for your crops and animals, ends soon!

Will pray for rain for you.

... Any members in here of American Indian heritage, know how to do a "Rain Dance?" ... If so ... get busy, ya hear?

    Thinking about you guys!

    Oh dear ...

And if it was you-know-who, it wasn't exactly rain was it?

    More like big-time BS! ...

There's enough Indians in OK to do continuous rain dances in every county for a month.
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.
Live every day as if it were your last, because one of these days, it will be.

They're inside eating Twinkies and drinking beer, you can't get them to go out in the heat.

I love hearing northerners cry about heat. Boohoo it's 85 degrees I might break a sweat!

It was 109 degrees here a week or two ago. Last year our big lake dried up.

It was 105 degrees in Virginia this week, and humid, but that was nothing. I have a fond memory of sitting outside our JOC in Iraq and talking to a couple of other officers about how nice it was that the weather had cooled down to 105 degrees. The week before, it had been 130.
