NOAA is stating that this is the worse drought this area has seen in 50 years.......
No relief in sight, just forecast for 100+ temps for the next ten days.......

It was only a quarter inch but it made it easier to weld today.

Torrential rain here right now!!! I just picked up a new rain gauge but I can't deploy it
it's coming down so hard!!!!

Hotter than hell and dry as a bone, I saw a robin today pulling a worm out of the ground with a pot holder.

Several of the local beaches were closed due to high bact. counts from all the runoff.
Looks like the rain is over till the storms fire up again tomorrow.May the FORCE be with you!

Hot hot hot and hot! I was unloading some deep well pump motors today and the driver said he hadn't been up on this hill since old so and so dealt drugs here, he then said "the dam fool blew his own lawyer up in his car" I asked if it was a nice car and he said " yep, a Mercedes, she had a lot of miles left on her, damned shame"!
