    If everyone on DU donated $1 or whatever you could afford, once a quarter
    maybe we could have an impact on the money game that is now reality.

    We have 150,000 + members.
    If everyone gave $5 (averaging it out between those that could give $1 and those that could give more) that would be approx
    $750,000 just from DUers once ever 3 months.

    No - it's not the millions, or cough - the billions - of what the Koch Bros, KKKarl, Adelson, etc will donate - but it's nothing to sneeze at either.


    Thoughts???? Is this something my fellow DUers would be willing to do?
    To have even $1, these people would have to actually work for a living. I get the distinct feeling that very, very few of them do.

    I don't see how donating money to DU helps Obama get re-elected, anyway. I can see how it might give Skinner some $$, but if I wanted to donate money to get a candidate elected, I'd give it directly to the campaign.
