New York Mayor Bloomberg recently asked his critics this question pertaining to his proposed ban of cup sizes over 16 ounces: “Is purchasing two 16-ouncers instead of one 32-ounce too much of an inconvenience to help reverse a national health catastrophe?”

You might have asked (as I did): Wouldn’t two 16-ounce sodas be just as bad for you as one 32-ouncer?

The answer, according to information provided by the Nanny of NYC, is no.

According to a graphic on Michael Bloomberg’s Facebook page, doubling the size of a sugared soda larger than 16 ounces more than doubles the amount of sugar and calories.
Here's the link to the Facebook graphic:

    Some pretty choice comments there.

Anyway, they obviously think the public is too stupid to figure this out. That might be the case in liberal NYC, but not everywhere.

Twas my first thought upon hearing about the 32 oz and above ban. consumer Purchases 2 or more 16 oz drinks, still getting the desired quantity. Two 16 oz drinks costing more than a 32 oz drink becomes a profit boom to the retailer.
The 21st century. The age of Smart phones and Stupid people.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

I'm not sure about that. Yes, it's a tad cheaper to buy one 32 oz drink vs. two 16 oz. drinks, but I don't think the profit margin for the retailer or anyone else (distributer, manufacturer, tax collecting government) would be very significant. (Being in the retail area, you'd think I would know for sure.)

Once MOOchelle and the rest of the Marxists get us used to what we cannot have such as salt, sugar, meat, etc, it is only a small step to make us go to the gym or physical re-education camps. If the NinCompoop In Chief is re-elected, watch for adult fat camps in a location near you.
Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.

Well, if there's one thing that socialist reeducation camps are good for, it's weight loss. Just look at some of the people coming out of the Gulags.

Doubling the number of cups will strip our forests of trees within 6 months and exponentialy hasten global warming causing us to spiral toward our destruction in December.
