The hot summer is here which means, I hibernate, a lot. Unless I am at the beach or pool, I usually stay indoors in air conditioned comfort. Direct TV gave us a few free days of HBO last weekend and giving us Showtime next weekend. I really wanted to like True Blood, but didn't. I'll see what Showtime has to offer. With Direct TV you get Cinemax with HBO and The Movie Channel with Showtime.
I watched Dexter in the past, it was OK. I liked the Sopranos from years ago, but haven't gotten into any other of their original series.

    Any thoughts?

We've got DISH and HBO and Cinemax and the wife insisted on Starz. So, we've got 16 or 17 movie channels plus Encore. And, here I am online which says a lot about the selection.

Hollywood puts out over 200 movies a year. I think the number is closer to 250. Where are they? Really, with all those movie channels, I see nothing but, basically, rerun after rerun of old movies made years ago.

I can't get into the HBO series stuff since the Sopranos. Other than HBO Boxing, I seldom bother with any of the movie channels. Really, other than watching a couple of hours of the Fox News in the morning and our local news from 4 to 5PM, I seldom bother with TV.

Ive also enjoyed the Sopranos and Dexter. A few series Ive been watching lately are The Killing, Castle and Cold Case. But I dont know if they will show on those stations because I dont watch TV. Luv my internet.
