This video is exactly what is wrong with Detroit and exactly what is wrong with America. Basically what we have going on is a job fair sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus in Detroit. This occurred last year when the CBC was traveling around the country holding job fairs. Now I don’t have a problem with job fairs in general, but what I do have a problem with is this tyrannical attitude on the part of these legislators who feel they are responsible for corralling people into a job fair and coercing companies into hiring people in order to lower the unemployment rate. Just listen to Conyers:

Now we know that companies are not responsible for lowering unemployment rates. The problem is, who’s going to do it? And the answer is that the federal government has got to have an employment policy that’s full employment. We want to get the unemployment rate down and that’s what we’re doing here.
The federal government having an employment policy that’s full employment? What is this the Soviet Union? NO! If you want to get the unemployment rate down then get the heck out of the way and stop trying to engineer this economy.

Then chimes in Conyers again with Waters:

And there is no exhibitor here that hasn’t committed to hiring. So you can’t just buy space to advertise.

And accountability – we’re going to follow up with all of the employers and see exactly how many they hired. We do have accountability built into the structure.
What is this accountability? You can’t force a company to hire people. This is America dammit! Just because they are committed to hiring people doesn’t mean they will find someone who fits their job qualifications. Tell me Rep. Waters, what is the punishment for not hiring someone?

Look, I’ll be blunt. The feeling I get from this video is that the plantation owners (the CBC) are looking down on the plantation they’ve created with their economic engineering policies – the policies that keep people dependent on the government. And while they are overseeing the workers and the job providers in their plantation, they are filled with a sense of accomplishment, that they’ve reached out their hand to try and feed those that depend on them. After all, it is their obligation to run the plantation they’ve created. But oh, they enjoy it because it keeps them in power.

    This video makes me sick.

So, do you approve of Conyers' message, or are you just trying to be an irritant?

Before you can do things for people, you must be the kind of man who can get things done. But to get things done, you must love the doing, not the people!

Nah, we'll just let a majority of them stimulate the economy from the unemployment line this January.

Once again yoyo adds nothing to the conversation and when he's pressed for an answer, he acts the idiot like he always does. At least he's consistent.

Government is in the way. The free market, when given room to operate and as few regulations as possible, works much better.
