Wondering if there is any update on our favorite primate?

    Come on AA ...

Am praying for you and appealing to you at the same time.

Hang in there and get better even if slowly but surely.

We miss you and your sense of humor in here, and this crazy old world in which we live these days ... needs more like *you * in it!

Do we have any members who are on other boards where Ape might have posted? I've been waiting for Creeping Death to return and give us some news, but he hasn't been on here for weeks. We're getting very worried about Ape and hope someone has some good news for everyone about his recovery.

Please post if you know anything.

A question about creeping death's post... how do you go on without a pancreas?

To live without a pancreas, patients must take pancreatic-enzyme supplements to be able to eat and insulin to regulate blood-sugar levels. These medications must be taken as prescribed---and for the rest of the lives of those without a pancreas.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Surprised me. I didn't think anyone could live without a pancreas. But seeing as they can, it makes me wonder why pancreatic cancer is so deadly.
Seems like it would be treated like certain forms of prostate cancer in that once it has been diagnosed then out it comes.
Pancreatitis is another thing, and if I understand properly, poisons the entire body by sending digestive juices everywhere.

Medical science is truly amazing. We are lucky to know The Ape, and he is lucky to be an American.

Grab Ahold, Ape!.......we'll all pull together!
