SLW and I volunteer at Mote Marine every Wednesday so we'll be over there till early afternoon but she bought a nice big London Broil that will go on the grill tonight!!!

My kids are coming over later and we're going to grill. My son always brings nice sizzler steaks and we have brats and asparagus and corn on the cob and garlic bread. He does the grilling too so I can stay in the AC.

I might make some seasoned fries too.

Today is a better than average excuse.

Then get back to keep my fingers in the dogs ears so they won't shake out of their skins tonight.

Going to my parents later and they told me they are making burgers, hot dogs, baby back ribs and veggie shishakabobs on the grill, potato salad and a green salad.
I'm sure there will be more stuff, as there always is with them.

I broiled a steak and ate some corn on the cob. I stayed home, because it was 100 degrees outside before it became severe thunderstorms. Also, because the holiday was in the middle of the week, I didn't go to my sister's, like I do when it's on a weekend.
