Hopefully this will work
This is how it started, it needed cleaning so I used a steamer, sanded it down lightly and used Farrow and Ball paint to paint it. Farrow and Ball is pricey, but gives a lovely effect and you don't need much of course!
and this is it now

It's lovely, Bijou, amazing what a difference a bit of paint can make. It looks so cool and contemporary. You did a great job.
My next project isn't going so well. I've been working on it for a couple of days. I had some leather and got the idea of using it to make cushions for 2 of my chairs. The problem is I don't have enough to cover top and bottom so got some fabric and foam glue that's supposed to adhere the fabric to the 2 inch thick foam cushioning. It doesn't. Now I've devised a plan of cutting small strips of leather to somehow attach underneath. It's a conglomeration of little cross straps and wide shipping tape. I hope when I'm done that it holds and doesn't show from the top. This has not been pleasant. SR has been laughing at me and telling me my fixes aren't going to work. I get even more angry when he's right, darned him.![]()
You're always right my dear...![]()

I just realized what that stool in the OP is for. It's so SR can reach the sink to brush his lil toofies!![]()
