    Wow ...

I fear stepping into this forum, almost as much as going to the dentist! (Blush!)

Can't think straight at the moment, and just got a message from Youtube ... telling me that I need to upgrade my whats'it in order to continue viewing it. ...

Did so, and now am asked if I want to run or save the damn thing. Am in such a fog.

Don't want to screw up my computer.

    Thanks in advance! ~ ABC

Personally I'd 'run' it, but wait for a more informed answer!

Makes no difference. If you save it, you'll have to run it later so just run it now - I'm assuming it's 'flash player' which may be a rash assumption.
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

What he said. I'd run though. Keeps from cluttering up the hard disk.

    Thanks all ...

Will "run" the fool thing! Before I lose ability to access Youtube music vids.

Do my exercises to my favorite "oldies" online!

Sorry I missed this and am late here.... but generally Im cautious like you ABC... I dont run anything w/o knowing more about it.

What is "need to upgrade my whats'it in order to continue viewing it." about specifically?

Normally I just let them go screw themselves and go about my business.

Lately there has been a big push between Google, YouTube, Facebook and others to integrate your personal info which I dont agree with. Sorry... I just dont trust them. And it hasnt impeded my access whatsoever.

Yeah. I don't even select the "automatic updates (highly recommended)" box that we see everywhere. It always appears already checked, so I uncheck it.
The other one that I found so annoying is "Select so-and-so for Menu Bar" and all that stuff...

Take a screenshot of the browser + popup. Youtube really shouldn't need to you install an executable.
