I think we did know and did/said nothing about it....and the people that leaked it did so because they felt we needed to know what kind of blind eye this administration is turning towards incursions like this.

Could be that it was leaked by someone who wanted support for a larger defense budget. Still, for the life of me, I can't see that it matters where a Russian sub is. The Gulf of Mexico covers 600,000 square miles; 810 miles across. We should declare it off limits? Nah.
