Climber Facing Animal Cruelty Charges for Leaving Wounded Dog on a Mountain Wants the Dog Back
uh..
A man climbing one of Colorado’s tallest mountains now faces animal cruelty charges after leaving his wounded German Shepherd behind. Other hikers found the dog, named Missy, who was too hurt to make it down the mountain on her own. At 112 pounds, Missy was too heavy for them to carry so the hikers left her with food and water, climbed down the mountain, and orchestrated an effort to rescue her. Eventually, Missy was saved, but the owner who abandoned her atop a mountain now wants her back!Good men sleep peaceably in their beds at night because
rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Real superheroes don't wear capes. They wear dog tags.

I'll bet the jerk wanted her back after others rescued the dog and someone else probably paid the vet bills. I hope they throw the book at him. He doesn't deserve to have a good dog.
