I think they were all hits after the artist died, weren't they? Croce was a great song writer. His music always takes me back to some special years in my life.
I love Jim Croce. I wonder what his music would have been like, had he lived? Would he still be making music today?
Another favorite of mine, from the same era was Cat Stevens. His music died, just like Croces, only his died because he converted to that stupid religion that did not allow him to play his guitar. I miss both of them.
