If Isaac travels further south than Cuba, it's going to be a BIG ONE.

Just in time for my outdoor carpet laundering.

Yeah, dry air is holding it back right now and if it goes over the mountains of the DR and then Cuba it'll
get ripped to crap, just a lot of rain.
On the other hand, another model I saw today had it going into the Gulf with no land interaction.
THAT would probably not be good. Best to keep a close eye on this one, we should know by the weekend.May the FORCE be with you!

Crap! We are updating our hurricane lists at work.....this doesn't look good. And another depression is forming right behind this one.

11pm data is out and it has the storm staying off the coast of Tampa. That would still put us on the "bad" side of the storm for a while but I'll take a miss.
Lots of wind and rain. Coastal flooding for my coast, Hawkgirl you should be fine.
Unless it all changes by tomorrow...
Looks like a landfall in the Panhandle.
I love hurricanes!!!!May the FORCE be with you!

It's not over till the big Jew guy sings.
Hurricanes are unpredictable, I won't breathe a sigh of relief till it's somewhere in the upper-mid gulf area. Remember Wilma's track? Went into the gulf and then circled back and walked through Florida? It wasn't even that powerful but it did a lot of damage to the Palm Beach area. I lost my boat to that bitch
