My dog has been throwing up a lot. He's not eating but he's drinking. We have an appointment with our vet at 3pm. According to what I've read he might have an intestinal blockage. I'm very worried about him.

I hope he does okay, there are lot's of things other than a blockage that can cause those symptoms, I have had them swallow bone fragments that were too large that caused trouble.
He doesn't have parvo then, which is good. A dog I had years ago contracted that (he wouldn't eat OR drink) and within 3 days __________
I hope everything is ok!

He's at the hospital. He's having surgery tonight.
So what did they find NJ???

Surgery was finally completed at 6am this morning. They found a clump of Q-tips in his intestine that created a blockage. They had to remove a section of his intestine that she described as dead tissue. He's in pretty bad shape. Dr. says we're not out of the woods yet and the next few days are crucial.
Good luck with your dog. I pulling for you both.
Aw, poor puppy.![]()
