That's a San Luis Obispo County sheriff deputy. He looks like the guys on Lock-Up to me.
He's probably an undercover cop. I had sold office equipment to various levels of law enforcement, from muncipalities to the feds--DEA, ATF, etc. They don't send guys in a 3 piece suit undercover. Some of the law enforcement guys were downright scary looking. If they weren't, they'd be dead.
I even knew where a lot of the undercover offices were, because I'd send our truck to deliver equipment. How they thought they'd stay secret when a large commercial truck rolled up there I'll never know.
The DEA guys during the day would just be sitting in the office throwing quarters at the wall. I'm sure they were busier at night.
Would you feel safer if the cop looked like Orville Redenbacher?
The govt will ALWAYS push the envelope to see where the public draws the line. Its only natural. We (who draw this line) who cry out against this travesty, our voices are usually drowned out by the moderates assisted by the far left (and the media) who clearly cry the loudest and outnumber the rest of us. Career politicians are for sale in this regard. Doesnt matter your education or experience, even community organizers and street thugs are treated or recognized as experts who must be heard (over the rest of us) once they get into elected office. The left never stops. I can hear the "voice" of the people now. Baaa... baaaa.... (while in the background I hear "dont worry little ones, it will all be over with soon).
